We recently built Thames Water their second commercial scale biomethane plant at the Mogden works in Twickenham.
Despite many challenges, we delivered the scheme successfully and are now running the plant. Eugene Cotterall, Head of Programme Delivery in Thames’ Major Projects function, was kind enough to share his experiences of working with Green Gas Solutions.
Remote from the gas grid?
Having led the development and construction of the world’s first biomethane injection hub near Portsmouth, we are firm believers that this “hub and spoke” model can unlock biomethane potential for AD sites that are remote from the gas network. By selecting the correct location and implementing the features we included on this project, it should also be possible to circumvent the need to add fossil propane to the biomethane being injected.
